This has been a big month for us as we recently found out about Shiro's Head's selection in France. And now, Shiro's Head is on its way to one of Japan's largest cities, Kyoto, as an Official Selection of the inaugural Toei HISTORICA Film Festival!
The HISTORICA Film Festival is held by Japan's most successful and established film and television studio, Toei Film Studios. This is their first ever festival and will be held on September 22, 26 and 27, 2009. The SHIRO'S HEAD screening will take place during Japan's big holiday week:
Date: September 22 1pm-6pm
Venue: The Museum of Kyoto (Annex)
And best of all...the screening is FREE TO THE PUBLIC! Yep...Japan's government foots the bill for this event. Thank you, Japan...and to all of you that support our little DIY flick as it continues a life of its own. It's been a tough journey to get the movie to where it is, so we really do appreciate every little bit of it. Thank you.
